Snow Layer — just because I really like it…

Great for wintery projects, or just to add (unusual) interest to any clip.

Automatically conforms to any aspect ratio clip or image.

There are parameters to change the direction of snowfall as well as the amount of “flurry” (somewhat random drifting).

The speed of the snowfall is adjustable and the sizes of the flakes can be randomized.

By default, there is a semi-soft appearance that can be adjusted with the Harden and Blur parameter.

Basically the same as Snow Layer except the snow doesn’t move. This effect should be used with masking to create areas of “settled” snow.

Build a “snow pack” in your scene for the Snow Layer to fall on.

It can also be used as a “star field”.

Life of snow flakes can be adjusted and the overall effect is a slight amount of change over time in the appearance.

This effect is most effect with a Color Mask on certain areas of your scene. The recommended Color Mask is the HSL model.
