SC Slider Transition

This is basically the same transition as the built in “Push” transition available in FCPX except that you can control the easing of the animation.

SC Slider transitions incoming clips by the full size of the project. Directions are Left, Right, Up and Down. There is a “Curvature” slider that can add easing to the transition. A setting of 0 is linear animation, 100 is “Ease Both”.

To create continuous animation of clips, set the length of each clip to the same length of each transition. For example, to animate 4 clips in a row, trim each clip to 2 seconds. Select the clips and double click the SC Slider template to apply it to each clip edge. Select all the Transitions, double click the playhead clock and type in the same length as the clips (2 seconds). When played, then animation will be continuous.
