Safe Zones
Dual purpose title for FCPX
This title is an “adjustment layer” that can be used as standard guides to be shown or hidden (opacity control) or as guides for mixed media such as letterboxed media within another format.
Color controls allow you to use more than one set of zones per clip and keep them separate.
Scaling parameters allow for use with mixed media.
Can be used for letterbox/pillarbox guides as well.
Uses “classic” zones (80% title safe, 90% action safe). For more modern professional safe zones that adapt to any aspect ratio media, or applied to an adjustment layer for project sizes, please check out Universal Safe Zones.
