Test Pattern SC (updated)

Create and customize a test pattern for your projects!

All text is editable so you can apply whatever you need.

Please Stand By is optional and can be changed.

Parameters have been added to apply the timing of the appearance of Please Stand By text with a start and end times in % of the length of the generator — no keyframes!

Color test is also optional with a further option of making it grayscale. If the color order seems a little unusual, applying the grayscale option will clear it up.  Colors are ordered by overall brightness and intensities set for broadcast standards (approximately 75%).

There are two basic patterns with optional circle stars along with the ability to create any number of stars.

Test Pattern SC is just a throwback to nostalgic days of analog television when stations used to sign off every night. Use it for fun or to make fun!

Why not add a little more flavor to the mix?

A broadcast standard 1 kHz tone is included and is located in the Media folder inside the template folder. You will need to import this file into FCPX to use with the template.
