Cylon
A Hypnotic Title Kit for FCPX
Inspired by the (original) Cylons from Battlestar Gallactica (1978).
Why is this a kit? It comes with Michroma font (OFL – Open Font License – provided free for your convenience) but you can use any font you like. It also ships with an application that will convert a TextEdit text file into a spoken audio AIFF file! Simply drop your text file on the app, supply a “speaker”, a file name and location for the .aiff file, then drag and drop the audio into your timeline in FCPX! It is recommended you apply the Robot audio effect to the clip and make a few adjustments.
