SC Border Simple
A remake of the original
March 10, 2025 Update: Added the ability to set the border Outside the clip frame, Inside the clip frame; default is Centered on the clip frame. Border Placaement is the parameter control.
Expands on the original Simple Border effect in Final Cut Pro — Still a simple border but with more features.
Cropping FCPX’s Simple Border cuts out the border. Cropping is built into SC Border – Simple. Change the aspect of clips using crop and still maintain perfectly even borders. Scaling clips is independent of the border so no distortions occur. An OnScreen Control for easy positioning is provided. Features to create backgrounds for titles, or blending a clip into its background.
