Blink — a classic retro transition

Sixteen shapes used in a close to solid color, then opening to the new incoming clip. All sixteen variants are demonstrated in the video below.
This transition is actually pretty cool and also rather retro… circa 1980s… or maybe even the 1970s. Back then, “special effects” were really simple compared to today’s fancy capabilities. Ever point a video camera directly at a tv screen? Now that was retro!
