Basically the same as Basic Text Effect except the “Editable in FCP” option is turned off (text entry is still available in the inspector) and a position OSC added to make the text more conveniently movable in the Viewer. Position is now Position (OSC) [the viewable values are fractional decimal values and not full pixels… just the way it goes!]

Also added: All Caps and All Caps Size parameters.

Aligning the text to the OSC is based on the Anchor Point of the text (will depend on the Alignment setting) or the Text’s bounding box for those options under Text Anchor Pt.

This effect has been created to address a bug in FCP 11/12 where the font weight resets to “normal” when exporting.
